Bridging the Gap – Moss

Part of my research for the next EAST exhibition is looking at wetlands and particularly moss.

Here are a few facts you may not know about moss:-

It is essential for life on Earth and is venerated by the Japanese.

Moss has no roots and can be carried on the wind.

It grows anywhere especially in humid places.

There are 25,000 species.

It has been announced that this year is a good year for moss.
